| Comfortable, trusty skirt 08-14-09 |

| This skirt is growing on me. I've been wearing it to outdoor events, while gardening, and on long car drives. (I bought it in Natural.) It's very comfortable in warm weather. The waistband settles at your natural waistline, and the fabric catches the breeze. The 55 hemp/45 cotton fabric does feel a bit like an old pair of Carhartts, and doesn't easily wrinkle. Detailing includes contrasting-color stitching and a cute polka-dot trim on the inside waistband. I find myself wearing it a lot, often grabbing it out of the closet when I get home from work.
The sizing does run large: I got the skirt in an 8 when I usually wear a 10/12, and it fits well. At 5'10", it hits me just below the knee.
I wish it had a left-hand front pocket (it has a pocket on the right front), and maybe a key/coin pocket as well.
Also, it's machine washable, but the tag says "drip dry in shade" -- something you may want to consider. |

| This Skirt is cute, but the cut did not work for me, it was too roomy (i'm a tall slender athletic build). If you've got some curves on you, this will probably look great. I found the sizing to be off - I am usually a size 6 in most clothes, (and in this according to the size chart) but a 4 (or maybe even a 2!) would have been more appropriate for me. The skirt does come to a few inches "below the knee" - and thats coming from someone who is 6'0" (most skirts are 4" too short for me). If you're shorter, you're probably looking at a almost mid-calf-length skirt. However, the hemp fabric was a nice weight, it'd break in awesomely, and the pockets and other features were great for the tomboyish girl looking to step things up a notch without feeling like you lost the comfort of your carhartts. |

| Love my new Kavu skirt, fits perfectly and the 50% hemp material looks and feels just like a pair of Carhartt's. Makes me feel like I could change a tire, fix a car, or build a house in this skirt, so comfy and looks great too! |

| This is a pretty cute skirt. I also found the material wrinkled kind of easily, but it's not a big deal. I bought the skirt a size smaller than the sizing chart said and stuck to my regular size (8), but it's still a little big; like the other review mentioned, you should definitely think about sizing down. This is also a traditional wrap skirt, with a button closure on the inside on one hip and the cute hook closure that's visible from the outside on the other hip--that wasn't immediately obvious to me from the online picture but something I would have been interested in. |

| I think this will be a great casual skirt. The material seems like it will wrinkle pretty easily, but for a casual skirt I'm not too concerned. I needed to size down (from 8 to 6) because it ran large. |
