| Best shorts I've owned.
Soft, but tough material. Doesn't hang up or make noise. Special layer in knee so armor doesn't get hung up. Crotch doesn't get hung up on the saddle when moving over the back either- unlike other shorts I have. You just forget you have these on.
2 open and 2 zippered pockets are perfect for me. Better are the front and back vents- noticeable difference in the desert last weekend.
The liner has the best insert I've seen, as good or better than the Hoss Stallion liner (which is great!). The liner is at first a bit tight on the leg openings, but went away in a ride for me. The butt area is a little too generous and causes the insert to taco while standing, if you get my drift. No problem when riding though.
Sizing- I take a size 34 in Fox, but 32 in these (33 in Levi's jeans). I also tried the Hornet shorts- the Hornets were noticeably heavier, no vents, more pockets, same liner, slightly longer past the knee. May be better for cooler weather, or strictly DH. If you pedal up trails, the Raptor may be a better choice. If you're a BC, shuttle junky, look into the Hornets.
This seems a quality short with excellent attention to detail. They look well made, considerably better than most I've seen, and should last some time. We'll see.
My previous best shorts for the buck were Hoss Stallions, but at CLs pricing, the Raptors are a steal. I bought 2. |

| Love 'em; run a bit large. 38 was more like a large 39 or even 40. Amazing what they come out with nowadays. I like to wear the pant without the liner because it is fashionable and comfortable. If you like those long shorts. |

| never having actually owned or bought true mountain bike shorts before, it was with some trepidation that i purchased these shorts. damn, i must say they are worth every penny! so comfortable, never bunching up or getting leg hole caught on the saddle. the removable liner short works perfectly in combination. i must say...a great value too. |

| These are by far the best shorts I have ever purchased. They fit right, good material, lots of options. Durable, comfterable, and fashion set these apart from it's competition. Two good sized zip pockets to hold you stuff, and zips to vent your crotchal region make these shorts over the top. There is not a bad thing about them. I have purchased 2 pairs... |

| The concept of theses shorts is quite good. However, I found a few design flaws so I'm returning them. I think the pockets are 1: unnecessary, 2: for some reason they stay wide open b/c the fabric folds in an awkward way. The elastic band on liner's legs REALLY tight & painful after a while. The back venting panel's seem is bulky, I had the feeling the shorts were sliding down all the time while riding. The goggles cleaning cloth is made of a synthetic fabric - instead of cleaning it smudges the dirt. |

| These shorts are great. They fit true to size, and the padded undershorts work wonders for my valuables on a rough trail. The padded shorts can be taken out so that they can be used as regular shorts, and they are good looking shorts too. the pockets are very functional and the zippered vents are fabulous on a really hot day. They are a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I got them. I'll be using these pretty much exclusively for my riding. |

| I bought these bike shorts for my husbands birthday. I was very happy that the size was correct and that they fit him great! My husbands favorite thing about the shorts is the ventilation and padding. Great mountain bike shorts! |

| I am 6'3" 205 and have been looking for shorts for awhile. These are not only killer mtb shorts, but remove the liner and these are my new favorites. I am 32 and ham over the super long and baggy look, and these fit just right and look totally sweet. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a couple of pair. |

| I've owned Nema, Craft baggies, Oakley, Swobo, and Fox. These are the best. Soft, QUIET, outer shell, unlike the Swobo's. Elastic chamois keeps the stuff happy on the 6 hour slogs. Lots of ventilation, in all the right spots (i.e. by your stuff). Well thought out pockets. The shorts even have belt loops, along with the velcro cinch straps. They are even true to size. And like a baggy should be, they are baggy (but not too much so) and long enough to touch knee pads.
I'd buy more if I had the $$$ |

| I have tried many baggy mt bike shorts. These are among the best. These shorts have a lot of features you wouldn't expect to work so well. The vents are sweet, the glass wipe thingy is useful. The light weight material is comfy and the liner is pretty good too. |
