This shirt is a little longer and slimmer than their other, lighter weight shirts. Despite this, it's a great shirt. Very warm, pretty heavy duty. And it doesn't stink. What more could you want?

I am really happy with the fit and feel of this shirt. I am tall (6'1") and was pleased to find out that the XL fit me in both body length and arm length (which is hard to find with performance tops!). After reading rave reviews about the warmth of this shirt I was really looking forward to having it for the ski season, unfortunately I find myself still packing on the extra layers even with this top. It's definitely not worth the shelf price.

| I bought 2 of these shirts on SAC, and have fallen in love. They keep you warm, fit exquisitely, and fight off smell, even after a hard day. They're soft, and I really appreciate active clothing that fits me like a woman instead of a guy's size small. Also, the length is perfect in back, especially for my long torso.
For your own sizing needs, I'm 5'11", mid-size B cup, 135 lbs. and I usually wear a medium, and a medium Icebreaker fit perfectly. |

I bought 2 of these for my wife and she loves them. She's always cold even in the summer, but she likes to wear slim fitting clothes. Normally that's a contradiction (slim and warm). These Icebreaker 260 crews fit the bill perfectly. She's 5'8", 120 lbs, 34B, with long arms and the small fit her just right. She usually complains sleeves are too short on most clothes. She also complains that when you bend over, shirts usually untuck and expose your lower back/tush to the cold. Not these. They are long enough in the arms and torso. Nice job Icebreaker.

Merino goodness 02-20-09

I have officially jumped on the merino bandwagon, and seriously why wouldn't you? The stuff is soft, comfy, non-itch, wicking and will not stink. Not to mention a renewable and completely natural fiber. The BodyFit260 is a great baselayer for colder days when you want a little more warmth but don't want to be screwed when things heat up later in the day.

I got this on SAC and it's beautiful. Agree with other comments - cut is a little longer and slim. It looks great as a top in and of itself - over jeans. It's cuter than a lot of other similar styles of tops. As always, Icebreaker creates a quality, non-itchy and stylish product. I love it.

I love this shirt & have used it successfully for the following purposes: running, skiing, biking, sleeping, w/jeans. In case you don't know what size to get - I usually alternate between a small & medium. I got a small and it fits just fine.

I've tried wool before and couldn't wear it next to my skin or even over a light under layer. Icebreaker clothing is totally different. The fit and the feel is great. It doesn't itch, it doesn't smell and it keeps me both warm and cool. I wore these in Vietnam in both heat and chill and they worked well in either condition. The 260 is a nice weight. Small fits me well at 5'6", 110 lbs. but its not overly tight so could fit someone who weighs more. I have average to long arms and the sleeves are perfect.

one of my favorites 12-29-08

This is one of my favorite icebreaker pieces. I live in southern California where the winter nights are freezing (it's a desert) and we don't have heat in the house. This shirt is thick, soft, and warm. I get cold easily so I wear this over an icebreaker cami and under a fleece sweater/jacket. Don't need more layers, this was enough to keep me warm. The first icebreaker piece I bought was a 140 weight, which was too thin and somewhat scratchy, to my disappointment. But this piece feels SO GOOD. Definitely recommend.

I got one in each color on sale and I love them! I have really sensitive skin and was worried I'd find them itchy, but they're not at all. Maybe a tiny bit in the shoulders at first, but after one washing there's no itchy feeling at all. Medium fits me pretty well at 5'10" 140lbs but if I order more I might try small.

I'd been holding out since this NZ brand is so expensive. But I got a deal on steepandcheap and I'm so glad! I'm 5'8 120 lbs. and 34D. I got a small in both colors and I love it. It's still cut long and the fabric is really soft. It's really great for layering under my down jacket in the winter wind.

I had been eying an icebreaker top for a long time since I have heard so many wonderful things about them. I think its more hype and name that you pay for that a quality product. I do love the top. Its the perfect thickness and warmth. The cut is perfect for me, its a feminine fit without being overly fitted. Would pay sale price again, but not worth list.
