| I was pretty impressed with this shirt, I was heading to Guatemala in the summer, and wanted to invest in a shirt that…(like the description says) retains heat, works with body’s natural temps, fails to attract odor etc. I was a bit apprehensive to purchase such (by my frugal standards) an expensive base layer. Well I took a risk and bought it and found it to be one of the best items I took on my trip, I was particularly satisfied during those chilly nights at higher altitudes. I wore this shirt everyday (no exaggeration) it served as regular shirt, a sweater, and most importantly my towel (I obviously pack light) and honestly it never began to stink (kinda eerie). The shirt looks ALMOST as good as the day I first received it, but then again it has gone though a considerable amount of wear, it’s maintained its original shape, nothing has become over stretched, no fading, thinning, Nada! The half zip front is a plus, the long collar is great, and pretty stylish when worn fully zipped. It almost feels like jersey cotton, lightweight, and perhaps the coolest thing of all… the thumb loops at the end of the sleeves. I would suggest this shirt for anyone traveling light, layering efficiently, engaged in strenuous activities and willing to invest in a good piece of clothing.
One more thing… it’s a bit form fitting, yet flattering for a women’s shape, but if you like shirts a little bit roomier or plan on layer-up underneath, then I'd suggest ordering one size larger. |

| Needs Better Comfort Features 02-27-07 |

| I purchased 2 of these Bodyfit Tech Tops and found the merino wool to be comfortable and living up to its reputation for great absorption, but for the high price of this item, there is a serious lack of attention to some of the important details. The zipper and the reinforced fabric that it is attached to on the inside of the garment where it touches your skin is not sewn down and the stiff zipper placket is very rough and irritating to the skin as it moves about. Sewing it down would eliminate this movement and subsequent chafing of the skin. Also, the seams are not flat and for the high price of this garment, flat seams definitely should be a feature for comfort. There was a big disparity in sizing between the 2 tops that were labeled the same size L. One fit like a medium and the other fit like an extra large. |

| I am very picky about my tops and am always cold. I got this top and love it. It doesn't seem to itch and keeps you warm. I love anything with thumb holes - to help keep your hands warmer and keep your sleeves from bunching. I would definitely recommend this top and any Icebreaker article to anyone as its warm and won't leave you scratching all day long. |

| My husband purchased an Icebreaker Sport Rock Zip top for himself that he was pleased with it, so he give me this Bodyfit Tech Top as a gift.
Icebreaker bills its products as non-itching Merino wool. Maybe my skin is just too sensitive, but I found the fabric irritating. I asked my husband doesn't his top bother him. He replied a bit sheepishly that he wears a lightweight Capilene top underneath the Icebreaker, so the merino wool is not directly against his skin.
If you have sensitive skin I would suggest you stick with synthetic fabrics or layer with synthetics as the base. Since the Body Tech was supposed to be a base layer I returned it to for a refund.
Great return policy! |

| Another Excellent Piece of Tech Wear from Icebreaker 11-25-08 |

| I always feel a bit of guilt for how much I spend on Icebreaker ... but never so much that I've ever returned any piece I've ordered. And I think that says a lot about the quality of the brand. This fits like "bodyfit" should - right next to the skin as a bottom-layer. It's not so tight that you can't get comfortably wear your Icebreaker tank top underneath it, though. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the neck, which seems excessively long on this piece. It seemed strange while I was trying it on out of the box, but I've worn it twice now and never noticed it during those days. |

| I live in South AK where the winter temps aren't so bad, but still range between 10-30 degrees and Icebreaker is my best buddy! I wear it around the house, out to the bar, running, hiking, I even sleep in my Icebreakers. Sweat? No problem, still keeps me warm and doesn't stink! Thanks buddy! |

| Coming from the tropics, I feared getting cold on the mountain. However, this top helped keep me very warm. It was a bit large for a base layer (I ordered the XS) so at times I used as a mid layer over a tighter base. The best part- I only had to wash once on a 10 day trip! |

| I own a lot of North Face and Arcteryx clothes but decided to give Icebreaker a try after reading raving reviews about “natural” materials. I have to say that my experience was disappointing. The merino wool is not itchy but is still too scratchy and uncomfortable to wear on bare skin. So I have to wear it with a base layer. Plus, this top is not warm, especially when it’s wet from the sweat. It’s a good top to wear at home by the fireplace. For active sports or aerobic activities, I’m sticking with North Face and Arc'teryx, they performed well on Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Hood... |

| I love that Icebreaker makes such technically great pieces AND it has fresh colors and progressive styles.
On the topic od fit, this top seemed to run slightly big, so I ended up returning it, but got another similar icebreaker top later that I love. I have heard of other people sizing down sometimes as well so I think ifi you're in between, you might be able to go for the smaller size. |

| I haven't worn it running yet because it's become my favorite shirt at home after work. It's nicer to wear around the house than a bulky sweater and keeps me quite warm. I've washed it once in our front-loader and air dried. Still looks great. I wear it against my skin and haven't had any itching. I may get another icebreaker to actually workout in. |

| I purchased this top for my wife and cannot get her to take it off! She hasn't stopped telling her friends about it...it's kind of embarrassing. I heard about merino and thought I'd test it out on my wife first. Low and behold, I've now purchased some Icebreaker for myself based on my wife’s reactions. Just buy it, don't think about it. |

| I first got hooked on Icebreakers when living in NZ. So, I could not pass on this sleek one with the wicked thumb loops. Such a great buy, I love it and just wore it snowboarding all weekend. It didn't get smelly, it kept me warm, and it looks great for riding or cruising town. |
