| Helly Hansen Granite Jacket=Pimp! 10-31-08 |

| This is hand's down the most pimp Helly jacket I have ever seen (although you could definitely make an argument for the Odin Mountain Jacket as well)! The style is fresh, the colors are poppin' and spot on and the tech is sick! With Helly's Tech XP this piece boasts excellent water and wind proof technology. Diggin' it hard! |

| I'm a big fan of jkts like the Granite. Its got all the technical features you could want, plus just enough insulation to keep ya warm but not roasting after that long pow run. Color and design is self explanatory, the hot blue with white zippers is dope. It also is true to size for the freeriding culture...a large is a large, baggy yet not over the top.
I wear this jacket. period! |

| This is a great jacket for any type of skiing or snowboarding. I wore it hiking in on Teton Pass in February and riding at Mt. Hood in June and July. Hands down, it's a quiver within itself. The colors are ballin' too. |

| got jammed in the trees and hit the base of a hard, short branch root with my shoulder which left a scar. the jacket was left unscathed. thought for sure there would be a hole but nada.
one of the toughest soft-shells i've had the pleasure of wearing. works best with a good base and mid-layer as the Thinsulate is warm but not down warm. fits well and compared to most other jackets has a nice style without being too steezy. |

| Hi. I haven't actually used the jacket for anything outdoors yet. I can tell you that the finish on this jacket is top notch. The pockets are so nice and cozy. The insides are well refined... you can see where your money went. I bought an XL and it fits tighter than i expected. This is designed for an athletic XL. I have a bit of a gut, am 6'2 and 210lbs and its a bit tight. If you have over a 38 waist, don't get this jacket. If you are a large shouldered man with a 36" waist who is 6'1 and taller, you will find this jacket perfect. Overall, i am happy with the purchase. Nice underarm zippers. Good spot for an ipod on the inside of the jacket with headphone hole. Very well styled for a winter ski-type jacket. |

| I just wore this jacket for the first time out at Snowbird for a week. I have never been so pleased with a jacket before. The thinsulate lining protected me against the whipping winds and I stayed very warm. Additionally, all the pockets and extra's added to this jacket make everything very convenient and just an absolute pleasure to wear. Thanks Backcountry! |

| Absolutely no complaints. Excellent jacket, that is very forgiving and not restrictive when hitting the slopes.
Pockets are awesome and can store glasses, wallet, keys, etc, without the feeling of extra bulk. The wrist map pocket is also tops.
The pockets were especially warm and a surprising plus!
Only downside was the hood could not fit over my helmet, but I only tried briefly on the lift and as it was not a big deal, didn't put a lot of effort towards it so it may in fact fit.
I have a Orage, Cloudveil and this jacket, and I would have to say this one is tops for when it is not in the low single digits. |

| I got a steal from amazon right before I left for SLC and it passed the recent snowstorm with flying colors...
I've "collected" several jackets over the past few years trying to find the best and they have been all but disappointment: either too heavy, too cold, or too sweaty... This one is a keeper! All the pockets are functional, jacket does not look baggy (I got Medium and I'm 165lb, athletic build, 5'8"). |

| This jacket is awesome! It looks great, and is completely functional. The 15,000 waterproof and breathable ratings on their tech works awesome. Went riding in the back of a ranger in less than 20 degrees with only a tee and sweatshirt on with it and couldnt even feel it. As soon as youre moving it warms right up and retains the heat. The pockets are well placed and smart and the whole thing is just ba |
