| Very strong and accurate watch 12-13-06 |

| Despite the looks not being what I would prefer, I love the function of this watch. I never use a digital compass anyway, so I do not miss it on this. The altimeter is super accurate, and using the rate of ascent is a handy tool to figure out how long you will be hiking for. Never had any problems with it and the watch is a bit smaller then say the Suunto Vector, so for smaller wrists this is a nice option to have. |

| Too much watch for one man. 01-22-07 |

| This watch is easy to use as well as durable. I bought this watch for my dad for Christmas, but at first all he wanted was a regular old watch with no trinkets. Now every time we go out hunting, camping, or just out side he's telling me the altitude or the temp. inside his jacket. I think he will figure out the rest of the watch all in good time. |

| for a barometer style wrist altimeter this "aerial" does well---set at trail head and it's real close all the way up and down---works for me! |

| I was looking for a basic altimeter to take hiking and skiing. Found this one on sale and thought I'd try it out. Good stuff for the money. I dig the 'Ski' mode which tracks your accumulated vertical feet. It seems accurate enough for my use (7000' - 13,000'). Like other altimeters, you have to calibrate it often, but it's an easy thing to do. Only problem: the watch case came detached after about a year of not-too-hard use, but they have a 2-year warranty, and they happily replaced it with a new(er) watch that seems to have a beefier case. Oh...and the thermometer is pretty much useless unless you take it off your wrist and let it sit around for a little while (but hey...it is on your wrist...what would you expect?) Good watch.
Pros: Altimeter seems pretty accurate, large face is easy to read, ski chrono is pretty cool, excellent company service, buttons easy to reach.
Cons: Buttons a bit TOO easy to reach (often get bumped), poor case design (that may have been re-designed?), thermometer - as in other watches - is pretty much just a gadget. |

| Great watch but large face 04-30-08 |

| This watch is great! I like the display with extra large numbers - the time is much more visible than my previous watch. I also like how you can choose what is displayed above the time on the main screen (either temperature, altitude, or barometric pressure). As with all watches with a built-in thermometer, be aware that you must take the watch off and allow it to sit for ~5 minutes to get an accurate reading as your body heat with throw it off. One unique feature that seems handy if you spend a lot of time in the mountains is an alarm that will beep when you reach a certain preset height. I actually have yet to use the feature for a practical application, but it still seems pretty neat. I really like the looks of the watch, but make sure you don't mind the large face. I can't really hold this against the Aerial because all alt/bar/thermo watches are at least this big (my last one was even larger). Also, I occasionally wish the watch had a built-in compass. However, if you really need one, you can get this watch's cousin, the TerraTech, which does have a compass at the expense of a slightly larger face. Overall, I really like this watch and wear it nearly every day. It was a big step up from my last alt/bar/thermo watch in both style and function. |

| Nice Watch 08-29-08 |

| I have had my Aerial watch for a few weeks now. My previous watch was a Suunto Vector; so, I will compare the watches.
Aerial Positives:
The watch is smaller than then Vector. The numbers are larger. I like how the altimiter can be displayed with the time on the main screen. The alarm is a little louder than the Vector. The altimiter seems just as acurate. I like the two timezones.
Aerial Negatives:
It doesn't have a count down timer which I like for exercising. The temperature is incorrect when the watch is on my wrist. The mode has too may screens; it takes a while to get back to the time screen from the altimiter screen (I liked the way the Vector had 4 mode and then sub screen under each mode because it reduced button pressing). The band is very stiff, making it difficult to put on. There is no digital compass (Vector has one), but this is clearly stated. |

| Mixed feelings about this watch. As a watch and the function it was great!! It fell apart completely within a year. There was no way to fix it so I returned it. If it was put together well I might by another one. |

| I like it, but I forgot to compare to other watches and turns out, this one does NOT have a digital compass.
I just flew in a commercial airline, and it is decently accurate (with a 20x multiplier) despite the cabin being pressurized! It was also fully accurate on a trip to the Sears tower ;)
One down-side is the band is pretty inflexible/pre-molded.. can't bend it too much/won't lay flat like a leather band would. |

| poor design 07-17-08 |
Anonymous:
|
| I have owned 2 of the these watches and I must say I'm not pleased with it. Both watches had the band rip out due to a poor design (the pin holes are set in rubber and they rip out). If you are even remotely rough on your gear I would recommend looking elsewhere for a watch. |

| For the price you CANT go wrong, Lets get that out of the way. I have to calibrate this thing every time I get to a Ski Area, But by the end of the day it's off quite a bit. The temperature sensor on it is a joke, It's always off by at least 10-20 degrees because of body temp. DONT EVER take one of the straps off, one of the straps ripped out from me taking my backpack off, and I could never ever get it back in, Took it to a watch guy, he couldnt get it back in after an hour, We had to superglue it! Other than that, I love the log features. |

| I just received this watch yesterday (for Christmas) and was very impressed with the features. The accuracy is obviously not GPS quality, but the information is handy, especially the rate of ascent/descent - as the inaccuracy of your actual altitude becomes moot because it remains constant - which makes navigation much easier. The only problem is, on taking it out snowshoeing today, the strap pin broke within a couple of hours! I have had this as a chronic problem with watches in the past and hope it was a one time thing, but other than that, great watch. |

| Overall I am pretty satisfied with this watch. It is simple to use yet has some nice features. It isn't the nicest looking thing in my opinion, but for the price it's a great watch. |
