Damn my hands look good.   04-02-09
Drew Tabke (20): rating
I love these gloves. The leather is super resilient so the white color stays surprisingly clean looking. The fit just gets better with time as a good leather glove should. Definitely continue to use the leather sealant cream that comes with the gloves (or something comparable). Its keeps them nice longer, keeps your hands warm. Hestra rocks.

Better than the Seth Morrison pro model   01-19-09
jss582024650 (1): rating
Unlike the the Seths, these are TRUE to size. They have slightly more insulation, and give me more dexterity. I've skied with the Boronowski/Cloud Nines in the negative teens (F) and my hands remained very warm. The Hestra leather balm worked just ok. The gloves get a little wet on the palms, but my hands FEEL NO MOISTURE. FIVE STARS!!

pretty   03-12-10

size 9 is way smaller than a size 9 in hestra vertical cut freeride. size up by 1 or 2 IMO. leather and whole glove actually seemed to just get soggy after a full day. not the best hestra product IMO but they nailed the styling. maybe if i had the correct size i'd be more happy. but, for performance, suggest stoic inbounds or hestra freeride

To legit to quit!   02-24-10

These are great pair of gloves, between style and performance there is none better than Hestra. My hands have never been cold nor have they been wet after a long day of riding. There are however a few downsides, if you do not apply the leather treatment consistantly after a while you may start to see water stains, secondly doing tricks that involve grabbing your ski edges or carrying your skis may cutt the leather on your gloves (things to think about).

Very warm, Hestra is always at the top of my list. The only things I didn't like: Made in China, very snug when going by sizing chart, lining pulled out of pinky finger and it was a son of a... to get back in.

Sweet   01-02-10
Michael T Thayer (2): rating
picked these up on Tramdock, and they are sweet. The leather is super soft, they are really warm, and they look cool. Obviously white will get dirty, but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Wow   11-29-09

Bought these on S&C, and absolutely love them. Wore them for the first three days of Big Skys season, it got pretty cold too with the wind. These are hands down the nicest and warmest gloves I have ever owned, it like the Porsche of gloves. The leather is super soft and so is the inside of the glove, and they look dope. UPDATE: Glove were great but they ripped at the seams after about 50 days. Hestra was cool and sent me another pair.

Wondering what size to get?   10-21-09
pba3307824 (0): rating
I just got the Hestra Cloud Nines and they feel great. I haven't had a chance to use them in the snow ( it's still summer) but just thought I would put in my two cents about sizing. I read all the reviews, measured my had and went with the smaller size 8. my hands measures to be an 8 also. I had to exchange them, which by the way is very easy with backcountry.com and got a size 9. They nines fit great. remember they are leather gloves and will stretch a bit after a while. I would say if you are in between sizes go for the size up definitely.

Solid   10-13-09
THOMAS ARMENTO (36): rating
I've been a big fan of Hestra gloves for a little while now so it should be no surprise that the Cloud Nine gloves pass the test on cold weather days. I initially bought these as a late season glove, but they handled freezing temps with gusts over 40mph last weekend just fine. The price listed here is the only thing keeping this product at 4 stars since I bought mine new for $35. Note that the Cloud Nine will have a snug fit at first, but after 10 or so days they should fit much better.

Great Glove   10-09-09
Grant Watson (1): rating
These gloves are warm yet still true to hestras roots as being very dexterous. They are pretty breathable, I have used them in a variety of conditions with temperatures ranging from 15-35 or so and they perform very well. Only downside is it seems that getting white leather gloves makes them susceptible to absorbing colors off of other fabrics for some reason. They are slightly discolored, possibly cleaning with leather conditioner will fix.

These run small   03-24-09
Pete Stone (4): rating
Very dexterous and warm glove. Seems like they run very small compared to other brands. I used the sizing chart provided and it wasn't even close. Once I was able to get the right fit I must say I really like the glove. Overall I'm happy with this purchase, they fit well, look good, are warm and are dexterous. I ended up sizing up twice before I got the right size.

Not Bad   02-04-09
BeaverCreekDude (6): rating
These gloves are very nice. I think the price is a bit inflated, but no doudt about quality. If you like Hestra gloves i would check out the Backcountry.com generic brand. They are a better price and perhaps a better glove. I returned these in favor of the Backcountry.com Inbounds Glove. I think it's better than the Cloud Nine. Cheers!

Best Gloves I've ever had   02-02-09
tod.kehrli1562413 (1): rating
I really like the fit of these gloves. They are also exceptionally warm. Skied yesterday in 14 degrees and my hands were sweating. I also like the additional leather patches on the thumb and index finger. They are usually the first place to go on my gloves.

Manual dexterity and warmth   01-22-09
Aaron Roberts (35): rating
The Hestra Cloud Nine sits in the top 2 gloves of my arsenal and believe me I have a lot. I've had so many problems with gloves and it's hard for me to find a good glove. What I look for is manual dexterity, dryness factor and warmth. I've had other gloves that combine two of the three but not all three. This glove achieves the holy trinity! I absolutely love it. I've never worn a glove that is so minimalist and yet warm. Great dexterity, dry and warm. I've worn down to about -10 with this glove and no problems. The sizing is true to the chart although the wrist is a little tight, it's worth it. I would definitely recommend this to any skiier, if the price tag is a little much for you, check out the NEW Backcountry.com brand Inbounds Glove.

previously the anthony boronowski pro model glove, with that said these things crush. They are a very warm glove. I have never had my hands cold or wet. The only worry i have with these gloves is that ski edges might rip the leather on the palms, just something to be afraid of.

returned - unused   12-20-09

Bought them as well as the Stoic Inbounds. Fit was nice but the leather was thicker on the Stoic Inbounds so they won out. Did not use them so can't comment of how they performed.
