| very light and comfortable helmet, fits perfectly with my crowbars. good looks. i have only used this helmet for mountain biking thus far, the ventilation is sufficient at speed in all but the warmest weather so i would assume will be great once winter hits. i bought this helmet as a freeride/big mtn helmet and as an addition to my bad lieutenant, my range of movement is decreased slightly by the chin guard which i think will make switch riding a little trickier though not impossible. that said i definitely would not take this into the park. a steal at this price. |

| Remedy S Comp Helmet Review 11-16-07 |

| The Giro Remedy S Comp Helmet's fit and finish is superb. It's plush bolsters cushion your head and hold it firmly with no gaps under the helmet (at least on my head). One upcoming problem with SOME Giro helmets is the fit of goggles along the forehead. As Giro is now producing their own goggle lineup, som helmet are engineered to fit only Giro product. This helmet, however, is not in that group. My Smith's and Oakleys both fit very in this helmet.
My only complaint is the cheek bolsters (which are removable), are a little snug on my face. But hey, no wind will burn my cheeks this year! |

| Just spent a couple of days on the slopes in Fernie, BC with this helmet. The way I snowboard, I end up on my head often enough. This helmet did a great job. It is really light on the head and the fit is excellent. Looks pretty mean too.
My only issues with the helmet are the following:
1) not all goggles will fit - I bought a new pair of Oakley A-Frames that I cannot use with this helmet
2) Ear vents let alot of cold air in when sitting on the chairlift or in a wicked crosswind
3) When stopped and breathing heavily after a good, steep pitch, your breath deflects off the chin guard and onto the outside of your goggles. This goes away immediately as you start your descent, but it is annoying nonetheless.
All in all, a great purchase.

| I just got my helmet in the mail and I found that the sizes run really big. I wear a 7 5/8 hat size and the large was still big on me. Try and get a size down when ordering your helmet. |

| Very light, with good fit and by the way very attractive helmet. To avoid the cold wind chill through ventilation try to wear the mask under the helmet. Also when the wind hits towards your face and you ride very fast is better to take visor off. Good selection. |

| Bought this for charging bigger lines... and I guess it works for that. Def real comfortable, and gives great protection. The problem is it is absolutely giant. Way too big to ride casuslly, and a pain to carry into the backcountry. Looks more like a moto-cross helmet. This is not what I was hoping for. |

| I picked one of these up on super sale this past winter cause I've always wanted a full face helmet. For my daily duties I wear a Giro Fuse. This helmet is reserved for big lines, big air, and scary speeds through the trees. And it is awesome for all those things. You definitely won't look right skiing timidly in this helmet though, it is big and slightly intimidating even. Aside from it's overall size, it's surprisingly light, and keeps my head pretty cool. The vents are not adjustable at all, so if you aren't hot headed keep a helmet liner with you for cooler days.
My major gripe, which was expected, my Oakley A frames don't really fit in it or work well with it. I picked up a pair of Wisdom's to wear with this helmet. |

| We are very pleased with the overall quality and fit of our new helmet (the Giro brand is very well made). The Lg size fits my bigger head size perfectly (think I am about a XL 65 type size normally), and it fits my teenage son a little looser (he's about a 63 medium size (but that gives him room to keep it for many years). The helmet is surprisingly light, and is very goggles compatible. We both highly recommend it. My 16yr old son does think it looks like he has alot of helmet on (with the visor & full face) - jumbo size would descibe it, more like the look of a moto-cross helmet than ski, but I think he is getting use to it. | This helmet rocks! However, the sizing charts are waaay off when you look at the MFR site. If you think you need a large..get a medium...etc. Other than that, it fits awesome. |

| if you're in the market for a full face helmet, this one's pretty darn good - i have dragon mace & oakley wisdom goggles, and both fit the groove / opening well. one thing to note is if you are split btwn this and the carbon fiber model, i have to say the money would probably be worth it (it's a LOT lighter). i've also taken a couple spills, and the helmet's pretty much bomb-proof. |

| I returned the helmet I got in the mail. I was looking for a full face helmet that was similar in size to your normal ski/snowboard helmet. This thing was Huge...the same size as my motocross helmet. Definitely not what I was looking for. |
