| Boa system is solid. Boot feels right, still need to break them in. Construction feels good as well.. for $109 I cant find anything bad about them. |

| These are my first pair of DC boots and i am not very impressed to say the least. First of all i have big feet and these did not fit my feet snug. My front foot did a lot of pronating so on powder days snow would build up under the outside of my foot. And even when there wasnt pow, the outside of my foot would get caught on the top of my binding no matter how tight i tightened my binding. I also feel that the sole of the boot is too thin so i had to make my own insole in order to absorb all the impact i was taking. Secondly i rode these boots at least 70 days this season and they are starting to fall apart. The BOA loops are wearing and my pushing toe is ripping. I also had to put a donut pad on my inside ankle because the BOA gets too tight around the ankle, tighter than in all other places. SO overall, i would not recomend this boot for the hardcore shredders but i would for weekend warriors and begginers mainly because of the BOA system. |

| i cant really say much about these boots except for that they look sick and they're more comfortable than any boot that i've ever worn. these are prolly some of the best boots you can get for the price. |

| I've used these boots for one season and the boa wires on the end of the boot are tearing apart the sides of the boot, and they wear out kinda fast, seems like everytime i tighten the boots after i start to walk they just get loose again. |

| Tried on K2 Raider, Vans Encore, and Ride Jackson...all ran a little tight around the foot. The DC Scouts were snug without suffocating the puppies.
The only downside that is common with the BOA boots at this price point is that the lacing on the top of the foot is somewhat sparse maybe resulting in some looseness at the top of the foot. Only the Ride Jackson's address this with another criss-cross of laces.
There aren't many features to the Scouts either that you may find with other boots...no anti-odor coating, no fancy memory foam, and no high-tech thermal protection.
But at the end of the day, snowboarding can hurt and these were the only boots I felt comfortable in from the start. |
