In soaking wet Southern California snow condition, during a day it was raining on the slopes in a few inches of slushy snow, these gloves were soaked on the outside, but kept my hands 100% dry inside...truly amazing. And they didn't overheat...stunning. Nice leather, nice design, tucks in under sleeve which I like. I tried a billion gloves and will keep these. Not a fake cheap imitation Gore-Tex. Not typical snow gloves...feels like leather garden gloves.

These gloves are super. I got them just in time to use for the coldest weather we have had all season and they worked great. Not only this, but they aren't too warm when it’s not freezing out. I'd recommend them, and I don't like most gloves.

These gloves ARE in women's sizes, but they run small. I ordered a medium initially and it fit, but fit TIGHT. I don't have extremely large hands and have always worn a medium in women's gloves... but I sized up to a large and they're awesome. They fit perfect, they're warm, they stay dry and the leather is really good for gripping things. You can't go wrong with Gore-Tex. FYI- the picture of the black glove is from a few seasons ago. The glove looks like the olive colorway, just black.

These are in Girl's sizes NOT Women's   01-11-08

We recieved these gloves, size small. Turns out they were in girl's sizes, not women, so we had to return them. Nice looking glove though a bit pricy for a kid's glove.

The reason that I'm giving it a 2 is that although it's being sold as a "womens" glove, and the manufacturer does have "ladies" on the inside tag, this is actually a "junior" glove. Check out the size chart and the size chart is correct. Any adult woman would wear an XLG. The cardboard that the gloves are attached to, clearly states "girls" gloves. This is not entirely Backcountry's fault, because the manufacturer is so unclear. Also, the price is a lot higher than most "junior" gloves. If you like the glove, than order an extra large if you wear a 6.5 or 7, which is a small adult hand. Anyone larger should pass. Also, think the glove is overpriced for the quality. There are a lot of gloves on the market at this price point that are better. Glove looks good cosmetically, but that is the best that I can say. A size Large was too small for my size 7 hand. Did not have a chance to try the XLG, as they were out of stock. Do not recommend this glove!
