| These are great pants! Unfortunately I'm between sizes as well, so I guess now I have an added incentive to lose that next ten pounds. Yes, they should be bought tight, but the waist should fit (front rise falls just below navel), as it won't stretch out much, even if the rest does. So my pair is a little tighter than I want at the moment.
One bonus of these pants, which I bought for a trip to Europe: cat hair apparently has to fight to stick to it. As a loving owner of two cats, that's AMAZING! I was covered in cats yesterday, stood up, brushed my pants off and was amazed by black fabric unsullied by cat hair.

| I was between sizes, and am fussy with how pants fit. Also, I thought the fabric felt/looked too much like polyester from the 70's. Overall, I liked the style and would have kept them if they ran a bit smaller. |

| fyi, read other comments on the pant listed in the "outlet". bought these in a size 2 and they fit like they were custom-made for me (they fit true to the countourwear size chart). they do wrinkle when packed, but the wrinkles disappear when you put them on. these pants are really chic and elegant, and look great with heels for dinner. haven't yet used them for hiking. they seem almost too nice for that use, although the schoeller fabric should hold up well. am buying a second pair in black ASAP. |

| I also usually wear a 4, but I went by the size chart and got a 6. They fit really nice, but they are not skin tight so I hope they don't stretch too much. The biggest drawback for me is the length. The slit front leg opening was already a little bit funky for me, but these pants are way too short (I'm 5'7"). So I'm having them lengthened (and using the entire hem) and will have to really close the slit a lot - but not all the way or they would be too narrow at the bottom. The alteration is not as simple as it should be. These should be made longer because it is always easier to shorten pants than lengthen or they should be offered in tall because there are a lot of people a lot taller than I am. That said, I'm looking forward to wearing them because they are very flattering and very comfortable. |

| The pants just arrived. Too small! They are form-fitting like my Nike workout pants. Off the rack, I wear a size 4...except for designer pants when I often need to downsize to a size 2. Apparently, these run smaller than the typical ready-to-wear. They appear to be the perfect pant for travel - and just what I was looking for. I have just re-ordered them in a size 6 and hopefully they will fit. I'll post an update later. |

| Love these pants for work, exercise and travel. Easy to wipe off spills and dirt. Wrinkles disappear after you put them on. True to size (initially snug but loosens up). Little challenging to let out the hem to create a longer inseam but worth it. Great pant. |

| Found these in my search for pants to go straight from office to gym. They serve the purpose. Only complaint is that I've found some inconsistencies in Contourwear items - 2nd pair of these pants were not as finished at the waist as the first so don't fit quite as well there. Same experience with their wrap top. I'm a thick 12, and the 12 fits just right. |

| I tried on a size 6 and they were tighter than skin tight, so I ordered the 8. They were a little large in the waist, but I liked the pants so much that I thought I could solve the problem by having them altered. I wore the pants for one long day, and indeed they kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger. I had them altered to fit perfectly. I wore them again, and they kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger. The material is beautiful--hard-wearing and stylish--but they absolutely must do something about this "expansion" feature, which they call "relaxing." Unfortunately the issue isn't solved by buying a size or two smaller, because the "relaxing" does not happen to the length. |

| These pants are really nice looking and really comfortable. I also am usually a size 4, but I read the size chart and ordered the 6. They fit nicely, but they are not skin tight, so I hope they don't stretch too much. I can't wear them yet, however, because they are way too short. I am 5'7" and am having the entire hem used for lengthening. The front slit was a little bit funky for me in the first place but when lengthened will have to be closed a lot - not all the way or the leg would be too narrow. The point is that the alteration isn't as simple as it could be. The pants should be made longer because it is always easier to shorten than lengthen. Or they should be offered in tall because anyone taller than me won't have enough hem to lengthen them. My pants have only one passport pocket in the leg which isn't an issue for me, but someone might care - one you lengthen the pants it will be hard to get to, anyway. |

| These pants kept me from getting soaking wet on a recent trip to Germany. It was coming a downpour and I looked down at my pants and beads of water were standing on the fabric. When I did get inside the bus I just brushed the water off and was nice and dry and everyone around me was soaked....Make a Jacket from the same fabric! Dries quickly, a bonus, when traveling! |

| I am regularly a size 4, but after reading reviews I thought I'd better get a size 6. The tag says to order tight "like a pair of jeans just out of the dryer" because they will relax. I sent the 6 back after trying them on and got the size 4. They're perfect!!! They look really nice, but the sturdy fabric is good if you are a frequent traveler. The quick drying, durable fabric is perfect. These pants are just what you need if you are an adventurous, frequent traveler who likes to travel light, a mom with a toddler, or an inhabitant of cubicle land. Get the black, it hides any body flaws you might think you have and they make you look even better! |

| These are wonderful pants! I have them in both the brown herringbone and black. The fabric is amazing -- looks terrific and incredibly sturdy. I wear the pants to the office all the time... and they are unbelievable for travel. Once, I took a hard fall from my bike, fell hard on my knee... I ended up with a pretty badly skinned knee, but the pant was completely undamaged! And I think the fabric saved my knee from being damaged more than it was. The pants are expensive, but they are totally worth it. |

| Fits and looks great. Be aware of: 1) inconsistency in # of pockets in ankle hem; some have one and some have two and the latter don't accommodate a passport. 2) The zippers don't slide easily. They should have used YKK zippers! |

| I tried these pants on again and discovered that my initial impression about the fit was wrong. I am between sizes...the 4 is too tight and the 6 is too loose. The pants fit fairly well through the hips, but the waist was too big on me. I was concerned about the fabric stretching, so I decided to return them, although I really did like the pants. |

| To recap: I ordered these in my usual Size 4 and found them to be exceeding snug and had to return them. I re-ordered in a Size 6 hoping for the best, as I liked the pants a great deal. They arrived this morning and fit me very well...not perfect, but more than acceptable. They fit smoothly through the hips and curve nicely with the bottom. The waist sits at a modern level just below the waist and has little "ease" to it, so I am hoping that the fabric holds its shape and does not stretch out with wear. If that happens, it will be easy to fix because there is a seam that runs through the back waist. I'll let you know how they hold up after my trip. |

| I bought these pants for a trip to Europe and was not disappointed. I wore a pair on my almost 24 hour travel day and they were still looking good at the end. Very comfortable for the plane and they look great. Also wore them out to dinner in Paris, paired with cute shoes and sweater set. A very nice casual look. I have a hard shape to fit so I always look for pants that have built in stretch. These pants should be tight at first as they do tend to stretch out just a bit. Though pricey, they are worth it. I bought 3 pairs. |
