You're crazy if you don't like these bindings!   03-09-09
PC Rider (6): rating
Burton Triads are the sh!t. I bought them at the beginning of this season. So far I have 77 days on them and they are still in great shape! Sure the screws get loose once in a while but guess what? It's a screw holding together 2 moving parts, yes they may get loose from time to time, big deal, take better care of your sh!t, check em! I actually just bought a second pair when they went on sale for my pow board! Stoked! If ur the everyday rider and are considering these, get them, they will be more advanced than you are! If you are a ripper then you should already know! Check the pros that don't have binding deals and they will be on these or Cartels, check the whole DC team! And if something does wrong, Burton has a great warranty program and Dogfunk's is even better! Just quit hating, damn! Burton makes a great product and Dogfunk is awesome so support them both!

Friend's Triads... broken?   02-16-09
cantsee (10): rating
One highback broke at the 'living hinge' forward lean adjuster. He had not been using them for a year. Burton warrantied and replaced highback, but I am still skeptical of the quality and/or durability of Burton bindings.

Hey, "DO NOT BUY"; how 'bout using the warranty?   02-20-09
Brad Bleak (7): rating
Every rider I've ever talked to has said that Burton makes good stuff (and at the very least adequate for the everyday rider); I just read some reviews about how quickly the Triad broke down on someone and I've got to say, "RETURN the item, either Burton (through product warranty) or Backcountry.com will be more than happy to take back your defective binding and replace it (any binding that doesn't last you at least a season would qualify as defective in my opinion, unless you are hammering the stuff yourself). So don't be a Burton hater, they make good stuff, they honor their products through warranties and you even have another layer of honor by going through backcountry.com......so relax and return your binding, if it falls apart again then I would be more inclined to believe you but you seem to be the only one to say that Burton's gear sucks...most will say it is plenty adequate or that they make top of the line gear, but I've never heard they suck......do you work for DC or something?

SUCKS   11-10-09
Papa Stav's (1): rating
This things suck so bad i love burton but cartels are the way to go. They have absolutly no response at all they fuckin creek like a bitch. if i pull my knees together i can lift the entire side if the binding up off the board flex it upward and the baseplate is just standard so that doesnt flex at all. you can ride rails with these but not enough support of nosepress or nose slide. there is no way that you can ride deep pow with these. i put them on my dominant and they are both so lose it worked ok but on somthing stiffer it would not work at all because they just simply arent stiff enough to make the board respond.

i love the toecaps on these. they cut out useless weight and the hole helps fit around the toe of your boot so it feels really natural, instead of it feeling like its blocking your toes.

Burton Seems To Be Going Chineese   10-26-09
My Friends Call Me Pizzle (0): rating
I have owned a pair of Burton Customs as my first binders and were pleased with them. After switching around a few times, I finally decided to drop the money on these assuming it would be worth it. When i got them, all I had to do was pull back on the highback and I heard the plastic creek like they were about to snap. Everywhere I flexed these, they made me worried they would not handle more than 3 days on the mountain. Other reviewers say they have ridden 70+ days on these, so I may be wrong, but I felt like I didn't even trust them for one day. The straps were top notch though. Check out Forum Republics that come in almost all the same colors and are cheaper. If you aren't getting these on sale, then you would be extremely stupid not to at least look into Union Force-SL first.

Not for big mountain riding   09-15-09
bigskyrider (0): rating
These bindings are ok. They get the job done for lower mountain riding. But if you want to go big and charge the steeps as hard as you can, these get a little flimsy and less responsive at top speed. Overall, had I known what i know now, I would have purchased a stiffer binding.

I like them   07-13-09
Jared Glick (0): rating
I have these from two years ago. They work well and are extremely comfortable. Easy on and off and work really well for me. Im not a huge trick rider, I mostly just cruise down the mountain with out doing any tricks. So all these bad reviews might be from guys who do more extreme stuff than me. None the less, if you can get them on clearance, it's a good buy. Some of the colors are lame to me...but I guess other people might like them.

Comfortable   04-14-09
Yuri (7): rating
The bindings are comfortable. At first they seemed lazy after riding cartels, but these bindings let u play around a little more in terms of jibbing, but still allow you to be responsive in terms of carving. If you have the money, invest in these.

Awesome   04-01-09
RecycleBin (1): rating
This place was the cheapest place to get them, by a long shot. I was able to purchase them cheaper here then with my employee discount at work (at REI) This was the first item I've purchased from B.C.O. and it probably won't be the last. The free shipping was EXTREMELY fast. I think they were on my doorstep in 2 days. The bindings are as described. They are very comfortable, yet still and decently lightweight. There don't appear to be any flaws that I've found. They are easy to adjust, work very good-as expected. They look pretty decent too, without being too flashy.

Great Bindings, almost   03-19-09
GWalk (1): rating
I really like the bindings, and the price was right...but the buckles on my 3 year old Cartels seemed less likely to break. Also, the color of the fabric on the toe strap is fading fast (2-3 days) but they still look sick. The fabric is a cool look, and there's no metal paneling on the back-sides of the bindings to get bent and snag on your jacket.

BLACK Triad   03-15-09
cliff hucka (1): rating
Stay away from the black Triad. The material they used for the black binding will rip any boot you put in it. The other colors have a slick material plastic that is perfect. Went through 4 boots in one week. Put holes on the backs of each boot. AVOID THE BLACK BINDING. Plus, white is flossin'!

Shotty product   03-03-09
Ben (2): rating
I agree with the other review. I got these last year and they are failing after 12 days use. They are very adjustable and comfortable. But the rear binding loosens up several times on each run. Also, the cushion on both bindings is ripped toward the boot. There is also a metal tab that wraps around the heel. This sheet metal tab is sharp and a little tap into a tree and it bent back so it stuck out 1 inch with a sharp tip. I had to bend it until it broke so it wouldn't be sticking out waiting to skewer me. All in all, I am now back to using my $55 Salomon bindings that have ~80 days use on them. Avoid these bindings.

no good man   02-20-09
Gregg (1): rating
I have been snowboarding for 14 years and have almost always had Burton bindings, but this may be my last pair. The only reason I may continue to rock burton binders is because just about every rideshop has a kit full of burton replacement parts(I even got a buckle replaced at the resort in Taos). And the warranty is good for a year but, that means about a month without the part, and once the year is up you have to pay whatever price the kid behind the counter in your boardshop wants to charge your for the part. I have in the past 6 months broken, one highback at the "living hinge" the other split down the middle, I have broken the tab off the ratchet on my rear ankle strap, and the others have all frayed like crazy.

DO NOT BUY   01-26-09
rilevans687513 (1): rating
Burton bindings might be the worst on the market. I have had the Triad's since December. Screw's fall out, the leather on the strap has worn down and is ripping, the padding on the high back is also terrible, and has started to fall apart at the seams. The high back has way too much flex and it gets worse over time. The top strap cushion is also very inefficient with way too much bulk. If you are a serious rider looking for a quality binding, look somewhere else, Burton is not the way to go. My buddy also had the C-60's and after his third time riding them the high back broke. Very disappointed, Burton bindings are all hype.
