I have this in Tropical Green and Black I think this top is great keeps you warm and I can get away with wearing it to work too. It has thumb holes and fits comfortably. Maybe a little long in the arms but its better than being short in the arms.

This top runs long in both arms and length. I'm 5"8" and clothing is frequently a little short so it's great for me. The top zips into a turtle neck, when it is partially zipped you have a nice collar that lays flat and doesn't brush your chin like mock turtlenecks do. I bought tropical green and the color is pretty close to what you see online. I love this top, but it's not for short girls.

I can't take the cold weather very well, but I love living in a country where it snows ^_^ I love snowboarding. So I have searched and bought all kind of so-call "warm", "heavyweight" first layers. This one doesn't fail my test ^_^ I wear it as a second layer on 15-25 degrees and it really does the job. If you are "normal", this one is more than enough. I am 166 cm, 130 LB, small is good for me. Warning!! body length is long which I love and do not trust Burton's size chart :( buy 2 sizes, and return one.

I'm 5'4" 120#, and as the above reviews suggested the piece runs long, I bought an XS. Fit snuggly, but the zip neck was suffocating. Exchanged for a S, which fit better around neck, but looser around torso. Used it as a second layer/fleece and kept me nice and warm in the Sierras. I bought the blue/green color. So pretty.

the fit is unconventional, long arms and torso...even in xs... and the neck zip is really high so much so that it folds over and still covers my whole neck. but after i wore it a few times i really grew to like it. great material, too. looking forward to putting it to the test.

Love this top. Bought it on sale this summer for some new base layers for the upcoming winter. The shirt fits so well. Nice and long to either tuck in or wear out of your pants and know that you can easily bend over without exposing yourself. :-)

I had to return/exchange this top a few times...normally I am a medium but wow...about three of me could have fit in the medium. Ended up with a small. And they don't all seem to be the same size...got two smalls, one was still way too big. Anyway, if you get one that fits, you'll be snug as a bug in a rug!

I now have 6 of these tops, 2 in each color. I love them because they're warm, comfortable, have a super long neck (that you can fold over if it's too long for you without it being uncomfortable), and they have thumbholes! =)

The softest fabric ever! You will be amazed when you try it on! Nicely covered zip so doesn't irritate against your neck/ chin like previous Burton zipped tops.

I love, love, love this top! It is long which is excellent especially when you tuck it into your snow or rain pants. It has a high neck which is one of my favorite features, along with the thumb holes. I wear it everywhere (my husband makes fun of me for it) and it keeps me at the perfect temp, which is good because I usually run on the cold side of the spectrum. I usually wear a small and have a fairly large chest and the small fits great!

I love this top! It is SO soft and warm. The thumb holes are also a nice bonus when it comes to keeping warm. It layers nicely and you could even get away with wearing it off the slopes. It's hands down the best fleece I've ever owned.

| Just to defend myself, I do not have a beer belly. BUT, I by no means have a washboard stomach and I do have a larger chest. That said, the sleeves and shoulders fit loosely while the body was very tight. Wish I could keep it because it is so SOFT and I love the thumb holes.

Arms too short 01-22-09

| I own previous season's of the same top in addition to this one. I was hoping because of thumb holes that the sleeves would be longer, sadly I find them to be shorter than the other ones I own and when I use the thumb holes it hurts my hands since the arms are too short. I'm 5'7" and wear the XS. Doesn't Burton realize skinny people might have long limbs too!
Despite the length, it is a great top warmth wise, which is why I kept it. |
