| Great Boots, Amazing Comfort 10-22-07 |

| I got these boots last year after my old boots started hurting my feet and the back of my calfs. i tryed on a bunch of boots in the store and as soon as i tried these of my feet felt relief. My toes used to get cold sometimes with the Hail they never get cold. On the snow these boots make riding a lot easier. They support your anckles great so turning is effortless. Along those same lines you can continue a turn through some bumps an not get any jolting in your anckles. I love these boots. |

| excellent boots. took em up to whistler during christmas and they were fantastic through all the rough runs and moguls. great control, very warm, very comfy. just don't tie them too tight. took me a day or so to break em in but after that they were fantastic. not sure wat everyone says about how flexible they are though...don't be mistaken, these are FREERIDE boots, which means they are pretty stiff. sure they flex, but by NO MEANS are the freestyle flexible boots. if u buy these, u better my some med-strong stiff bindings (i got burton c60's) otherwise your jus settin urself back. once again, these are not for the park or any freestyle, they jus don't flex that much. but other than that, they are FANTASTIC boots, DEFINATELY worth the price tag.
let me know if u got any questions. |

| Son loved the boots. Ultra comfortable and warm. Wondered why they put in the extra laces, but either it was a fluke or by necessity- the laces ripped after only about 7 runs- his bindings might be rubbing them though. Either way, it was a great purchase for the money. Would recommend highly!!! |

| I've used these one full season, and being a boarder with a season pass, they've had plenty of use. I have only good things to say about this boot. I can ride all day without much a problem. They mold to the shape of your foot and keep them plenty warm. I just wear a pair of normal socks like I do with my shoes. My feet stay plenty warm and I dont have any problems with blisters. My buddy tried these on and was so impressed with how comfy they are, he ordered a pair as well. Definately a good buy. |

| This is the second round with the Burton hail and I have to say I am very pleased with the end result. Like Jimmy I find that the boot is on the tighter side, to compensate that I don't tighten the foot part of the laces at all (ridiculously loose) and then tighten the shin part. I am a traditionalist so I like the old school lacing system. The inner lacing system is a lot better than the previous years boot. The boot is light, durable, warm, and my feet for the most part stay dry. The only drawback I experienced was that you have to break them in before they start to feel comfortable. I walk aroung my apartment to break them in before hitting the mounds of ice here on the east coast. Overall: I love this boot...would I marry it if I could? Yes when I am looking to settle down. |

| Bought these and used them for the 1st time fornight ago, 7days Mt Perisher. My feet must be different as I found these to really press on the tops of the foot, once I worked out how to lace them so this didn't happen they were sweet, had a bit of toe rub for the first day but a thinner sock fixed that. The inner lacing system is excellent and provides great support, and with that comes confidence on the slope. The only other criticism (and possibly my fault) was I got some wicked blisters on inside heel, assisted by the little boomerang inserts, once I removed the inside ones they were great. For me either I'm lacing too tight or they need another season to wear in. Pro's, they're light weight, super warm and stay DRY!!! which is a winner in my book. I think I'm happy to deal with a bit of wear in as overall they a top boot. And they look great!!! |

| The burton hail boots are one of the best deals in terms of the quality to price ratio. They are much more comfortable than many of burton's other boots, and suits a riding style that ranges anywhere from having the need of a stable boot to a style calling for a buttery cush, which is also capable with these boots. I like how burton keeps the hail with laces, rather than the speed zone lacing. I think it gives the boots a more natural feel - bottom line - great boots for a great price, good investment.

| I've worn many boots in my 8yrs of snowboarding, and these are so far the most comfortable. The outlast liner combined with the phase socks gives complete dryness at the end of the day. Only down side to the boot is if you want to remove the inner liner, you have to undo the liner laces first as these are fixed to the boots. But this isn't a bad thing - being fixed to the boot means reduced heel lift. |

| Burton makes such a comfortable boot. I don't quite get the velcro strap in the front though. Can probably do without it, but the boot rocks. I've always been told you have to suffer a few days breaking in a new pair of boots, but definitely not these. Love them. Comfortable from day 1. |

| These boots are great. They're very streamlined, so my 10.5s have the bulk of a regular 9.5. They're increadibly comfortable, my feet don't hurt anymore! The lacing system kinda sucks, but the flex and comfort makes up for it. |

| these are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn ... the cushioning and shock absorbing sole is great, I feel like I'm walking on an air cushion. the only problem is I haven't been able to figure out how to keep the laces and straps from loosening up a little.

| I ordered the boots as a set to include the board and bindings. Got the board looks good. Got a bag for the board, that looks good too. But no boots or bindings. So I talk to customer service. They say they will fix it. I get the boots two weeks later. They look good. NO BINDINGS!! Halfway through the season can't use my stuff. SO, like the title says, I WISH I KNEW IF MY GEAR WAS GOOD! |
