Burton King Snowboard   02-16-07
Peter S (1): rating
I got this board at the beginning of the season and it has worked quite well. My first snowboard trip was to Sugarbush, Vt and the conditions were terrible. This board is very easily scratched, and it took quite a bit of getting used to because of the larger size. I am 6'0 and 185 lbs, and i think that now that I am used to it, it was a good choice. Make sure to wax it, because the factory wax was under satisfactory

good for the bigger guy   03-07-07

To me, this board seemed really stable, but it didn't have as much responsiveness as I would have liked. This most likely is because the board was too big for me (I am 5'8", 145 lbs and got the 162, I have monster feet though). I think it would be a great choice for a bigger, heavier rider with big feet. There was one problem, though. I rode this board for one day, took it easy, and found two big cracks in the topsheet by the nose, and a whole bunch of chips on the edges. The board I got might have been a defective board, but who knows, someone else said it was easily scratched. I might have to agree.

WHO CARES ABOUT SCRATCHES???   07-07-08
ShreddahSteve (1): rating
First I wanna say that this board is great for us bigger dudes... it floats right through freshie and has plenty of pop for the park. Responsiveness could be a little better, but then again it is a Wide, and for the price I ain't complaining. For all of you complaining about a few scratches on your board, get over it! Are you out on the mountain to show off your pretty gear, or are you there to SHRED?? If your board doesn't have some battle scars then you need to RIDE HARDER!!! As long as your edges aren't popping, who cares?? No one but your mom.

Perfect for big guys with big feet   03-06-08

I'm 6'8", 230lbs and wear size 47 boots so i needed a large and long board. This board is perfect for me. I can place the rear binding at 90 degrees and not worry about dragging. Pretty neat.

Yep, scratches like a cat   05-22-08
PJKlimt (3): rating
Very stable board. I would recommend not riding it late in the season when everything is slushy and icy. Seems to lack the smoothness to blast through the crap. It does scratch. 3 times and the top looks like I'm priming it to be painted... I like the board and will still use it regardless of the scratches.

Good so far   04-24-08

I haven't gotten to take my new board out yet, but the description definitely is accurate. I bolted my bindings on and strapped in and this is definitely a wide enough board if you are concerned about toe-drag. Also, the color of the board is based on the size, so if you were wondering about that, now you know. Also, you can't tell from the picture detail, but you can actually see the wood core through the clear epoxy on the top of the board...that's a really cool feature. My friends saw it and were immediately saying, "That's really cool!" I hope it is all I want when it comes to the slopes next season.
