My wife's xmas list said "the warmest mittens ever," and I think I made the right decision. I bought these mittens for one reason, I purchased my Black Diamond mittens in 1996 and they are still the best piece of equipment I have ever owned. I have been riding with my mittens for 12 years and they still show no signs of wear! I hope her's stand the test of time as well, but for now her hands are toasty warm on cold days! Warm = More Fun!

My wife used to have cold hands, even on moderate days, but in the last cold spell in UT she was very happy.

I swear I have the coldest hands ever!!!! These mittens are sooo warm! My hands were sweating on a 15 degree day...way better than freezing for a change! I kinda wish they had wrist straps so not to lose them on the lift, but I made my own from elastic.

No doubt these would probably be warm, but not when your fingers & thumb are crammed to the very tip of them! The Large is as big as these get, and sizing says lenght: 7.25-7.5in. Which is me! too bad I need to return them, will go back to guys sizes, I just want warm fingers this ski season!
