| Really like this bag. Super warm, very small, good looking, large is the PERFECT size for anyone 5'11" - 6'. Would work great for others give or take 3-4 inches. If you can find this thing on SAC buy it!!! The outlet price is still pretty decent. Only complaint, stuff sack included is twice the size of the bag when stuffed in. |

| I've had this bag for a few years now and it is solid. It compresses down really small, is light, and warm. I've done multi day backcountry ski trips and summer backpacking as well. Big Agnes has it figured out! Removing the insulation on the bottom saves weight and if you get the insulated air core pad to go with the bag it's plenty warm. I would however recommend adding a foam pad if you are sleeping on the snow. The draft collar works great as well. Get it. |

| Big Agnes On The Chilkoot 08-13-09 |

| I purchased the Big Agnes Gilpin Sleeping Bag to hike the historical Chilkoot Trail. Starting from the Pacific tidewater in Alaska, through thick rainforest, over a mountain pass through British Columbia to the head waters of the Yukon River this 33 mile hike can throw just about anything at you. We were lucky but did experience cool rain the first night, crossed over a fair bit of snow in the pass, and had to secure our tents against strong winds on the second. The third night was disturbed only by the call of the loons on aptly named Bare Loon Lake. Through it all my Gilpin bag performed very well. I purchased this bag to keep within a budget, as it was on sale. The only complaint I have would be the little draft I felt when on the windy night the zipper side of my bag was to the outside wall of our tent so think I might pass this bag on to my husband (He suffers from sleeping bag envy now!) and try to get one with a left-hand zipper so it will be to the inside. Having the Thermarest in the underside pad sleeve was fabulous - no more sliding off the sleeping pad in the middle of the night! I would recommend this bag.

| Good Bag at a Great Price 11-16-09 |

| First night in bag temps were in the mid 40s. I was in shorts with a light long sleeve shirt with nothing on my head. I never had to zip up the bag. I am a very cold sleeper who has spent many a night miserable wearing every article of clothing that I had with me in my 20 degree name brand bag. I have a trip coming up the first weekend in December and I am no longer dreading the nights.
My bag weighs exactly 3 lbs in its stuff sack. Previous poster is right. I have already stuffed this bag in a sack that is a little more than half the size of the included sack.

| I dont have enough good things to say about this bag and the price. I got it on S&C for a steal and I am so very pleased. EIther way its a great bag, light weight down and warm. It weighs MUCH less than my synthetic and the pillow pocket is a nice touch. I cant wait to get it out on the trail. I am 5'8" 150lbs and it fits just right. If I were 5'10" I would go with the long I don't think it would fit if I were any taller. |
