Very disappointed with this product description. The shell is 100% polyester with a telfon coating (I guess the polyester is good if i am going to a disco party hu?). There is not a waist gaiter. rather just a pull string to cinch up the bottum of the jacket. This does not keep the deep pow out! This item will be returned.

Where's the Powder Skirt?   03-07-08

Seems like a nice jacket but a bottom cinch cord does not qualify as a powder skirt. I'll probably keep as I did buy it from Whiskey Militia but won't see the hill due to NO POWDER SKIRT.

The only thing that bothered me was in the product description it says the jacket has a powder skirt which in fact it does not. The jacket rocks! It fits well and is really cozy. On a cold day in Utah I can be warm and dry outside or kick'n it indoors without breaking a sweat.

Great Softshell for Most Days   01-21-08

Have skied with this jacket in temps ranging from 20-40 degrees and it worked very well. Withstood the wind at the top of Whistler and the wet rain/snow at lower elevations. Doesn't have a powder skirt, but has lower cinches and I didn't have any problems on a 25 cm day at Whistler. This jacket will work great on most NW days, except for the very wettest or coldest. It also could use an inside pocket.
