I love this jacket. It's warm but doesnt have the bulk that others do. I wish it had an MP3 player pocket as well as pit zips. Unzipping the jacket on a powder day isnt really an option unless you want a chest full of snow. Otherwise, awesome Arc'teryx quality.

If you haven't tossed your old Gore-tex in yet for a new one - this coat is a good reason to! I bought this as an replacement for my 1st gen Gore-Tex TNF Mountain Light Parka (it was time). Granted womens' gear has come a long way since 2000, but this coat is much better all around. Better breathability, better fit, better construction, same great G-T water and wind-proofing. The small amount of insulation makes a big difference - having to wear one less layer is nice. This coat has good length for taller girls (I'm 5'9") and a nice female fit. I agree it could use an MP3-specific pocket - I use the front pocket and sometimes my iPod freezes and/or collects condensation.

Stylish and Functional - the only coat you'll need   04-04-08

This jacket is supremely warm & flattering - the fit is roomy, but still shapely on a woman. I first purchased it in Basmati, but decided to go with the black as it would stay more clean and I thought it would be more versatile. This is the first winter I wished was longer so I could wear this jacket more, can't wait to get it out on the ski slopes! The only improvement I would make is pit zips, as it can get a bit too warm if you are going indoors/outdoor/indoors.
