Since the employees at Backcountry.com have the unique opportunity to use all sorts of bomber gear, we asked them for some can’t lose favorites. Some of our employees listed their favorite gear to date and named a few things they’re stoked on for this spring. This is smattering of what they came up with.

  My all-time favorite piece of gear. I wear it almost every day. Best weight-to-warmth ratio I've ever felt.

  So lightweight I rarely know it's on.

• Backcountry.com Shift Softshell Jacket

  At the risk of blatant self-promotion… finally I have a jacket with an internal security pocket in the hand warmer pocket to keep my cell phone, wallet and keys from falling out while using the pockets to keep my hands warm.

• 66North Iceland Vindur Hooded Jacket

  The unreal warmth from this uniquely designed hooded sweater/softshell has to be worn to be believed.

• Patagonia Houdini (micro-light shell)

  The sickest/lightest/most versatile (3.5 oz), waterproof and packable shell I own.

• The North Face Ultra Gore-Tex XCR Trail Running Shoe

  I wear these everyday and I run in them everyday, too.

• Oakley Script Sunglasses

  I love Oakley’s new women’s line

• Nixon Don Watch

  This timepiece dramatically improves my chances with women.... As an added bonus it keeps track of time.

• Mountain Hardwear Phantom

  Lightweight, super warm down, killer features like fleece material on the collar and in the hand pockets, super warm

• Western Mountaineering sleeping bags

  I want to upgrade and they are the BEST!

• The North Face Arnuva Boa

  AKA: the “Dean Karnazes” shoe. He runs fast, and far, which I want to do. These shoes have low-profile Boa lacing... Awesome.

• KEEN Footwear

  They have some super cute shoes coming out that are lightweight and durable. I love the Roatan.

• Injinji Socks

  Can someone say toe socks?

• Oakley Crosshairs

  Bottom line the finest, most stylish sunglasses on the market. Get the Transition lens setup.

• Ibex and Icebreaker

  Both companies are coming out with bras and undies (coming soon). They already have boxers. I heart merino wool

• Black Diamond Tents
