| Perfect for the little mountain biker 03-26-09 |

| The inner liner's chamois is thin, but is more than enough to make my 7 year-old son's 8-10 mile MTB trail rides much more comfortable. It is also removable, which makes washing and drying more convenient.
The outer short is very stylish with lots of cool little details my kid really likes, and the fabric is clearly tough yet very light. When fit fight, the pants come right below the knee. This offers the comfort of a short with the added knee protection. The knee padding is thin, so it doesn't restrict motion and keeps the shorts light and supple. These shorts paid for themselves on our first outing, after my kid crashed twice. Had he been wearing regular shorts, these spills would have left him crying with bruised and cut knees. Instead he got right back up and kept on going. The shorts showed no sign of damage.
With a removable inner liner, my kid even wears these to school sometimes.
In brief, very rugged, yet light and comfortable, and stylish to boot! Perfect for your little biker. |
