Although these shades do give you ridiculous peripheral coverage, the Emits also have a sleek, clean-line design. Zeal Optics uses ZB-13 polarized technology which cuts glare in a broad range of light conditions. This means the Emit Sunglasses are equally useful on super sunny days and under bright white skies. Glasses offer great protection & fairly light, given the overall size. I am wider in the temples than most, so after a while they do begin to feel a little tight & peripheral vision out of the corner of the eye is hampered by the "Z". Solid deal.
