XCEL's Thermobarier construction works together with the non-restrictive UltraStrech neoprene to hold precious body heat close, while the horizontal X ZIP chest closure prevents flushing no matter how many frozen waves you have to duck on your way out to the line up. UltraStretch panels in the hood eliminate that inhibiting neck brace feel, and the chin protector gives you options—leave it down on the paddle out and flip it up before you lose feeling later in the day. Quadruple-gluing, XCELS's Fusion process, and pressure-bonded seams keep put this suit on the top shelf.

This is a really good price for a wetsuit. That said, my Infinity is a disappointment. The neoprene they use sucks, it packs out so fast. This suit flushes way too much also, the closure system needs serious work. Out of the 4 friends and myself who have excel's, ranging from the infinity to the top of the line dry lock, none of us would ever buy another one. not sure about the spring suits but when your 5 mil flushes tons and the water is 5 celsius, it sucks.
