I agree with the other reviews that this skirt is really see-through (I got the white). I was really disappointed because the skirt itself is so pretty and flattering. So, I wear it with a short slip underneath...it's worth the extra effort cuz I like the way the skirt looks.

This skirt is so incredible see-through I can't imagine wearing it anywhere but the beach. I got the white and it showed every detail of my swim suit that wearing this to dinner, as the description suggests, would just be plain rude. Also what is doesn't show is the side panels that expand the skirt but they hang pretty poorly off the frame.

This skirt might work as a beach cover up or something, but not on its own-- it's a very light fabric and is see-through, including the darker color.
