The Vasque Women's Circuit Shoe provides top notch traction for technical approaches, and it won't make you look like a weirdo when you head to the bar after your send. Hiking, climbing, partying until walking becomes impossible—this shoe takes on all challenges. The Vibram Link sole keeps you glued to holds on 4th class climbs, steep rocky trails, and the kitchen at your friend's house that's always coated in spilled PBR. Vasque gave the Circuit Shoe a durable Nubuck and suede upper to make it tough enough for plenty of days in the outdoors and backyards.
I bought these in a 9.5 (my usual shoe size) and they fit fine, but when i looked down on my feet they seemed to look more like long narrow bowling shoes so I ended up returning them. The fit was good though, just not quite my style. I don't know why they looked better to me in the photo. My friend has a pair and she loves them, so I guess it's just me.
While they aren't going to win any beauty contests, these shoes have far exceeded my expectations. Super lightweight but still sturdy & supportive.... comfortable with excellent technical performance. I've used them for hiking, mid-fifth rock climbing, scrambling and have even had crampons on them for glacier travel on approaches when I didn't want to have to carry my mountaineering boots all day while I was climbing. I'm thinking about buying another pair for when these ones wear out. My only complaint would be the lack of arch support but that would add weight and you can always throw insoles in them.
