The Women's AMP Racer-X Stealth Shoe is the Euro version of Vasque's trail running powerhouse, so you won't find it at the local mall. Vasque updated the AMP with a Racer-X lug pattern for traction and used high-friction Stealth S1 rubber for extra grip in the toughest conditions. This special outsole makes the AMP great for trail running, hiking, and long approaches over variable terrain. When the going gets rough, Vasque's thermoplastic urethane plate supports the arch and forefoot to protect your feet and increase stability. Highly breathable Airmesh uppers and moisture-wicking linings keep your feet cool and comfortable when you're out in hot weather or on wet trails.

This shoes are great for trail running because they are super supportive and will grip on any kind of terrain. They do run a little small and are for a thin to regular width foot. I wear a size 6.5 and bought 7 in these shoes. The only down side is that using superfeet insert makes the heel a little weird. I got used to that as I used them though.
