I a a size 7 in all shoes and these are no exception.I run about 20 miles a week, half of them trail and find these shoes to be excellent performers. Stiff enough to take some hard hits from roots and rocks, but not like running with two by fours strapped to my feet. The moderate lift of the heel (slightly more pronounced than road shoes) seems to give an advantage for up and downhills; a feature I really like. They were comfortable out of the box the first day on the trail, but have become even more so after a few runs. So far have, they about 30 miles on them and they're not looking much worse for the wear. I've always liked Vasque and these live up to the standards I've come to expect from the company.

Very comfortable from day one! These have been great in the nasty Seattle rain. I do alot of walking and have had nothing but a great experience with these shoes. Haven't used them for trail running, the intended purpose. But, I'm out in the weather constantly and in these shoes more than 14 hours a day. Dry, comfy feet at the end....The ONLY con is the laces don't seem to stay tied. My solution is the double knot and no problems. I wear a size 9 and they fit perfectly with liners and light hiking socks...They are certainly worth it. If you see them on SAC for $40.00 GRAB EM'...plus they are quite attractive on. Not big clod-hoppers...like some!
I'm normally a 9.5, but almost always go up a half size for hiking and running shoes. The 10s were big and bulky, but then the 9.5's were too tight. I ended up going with a New Balance Country Walker for a less bulky, but very stable and solid 10.
