The Vasque Kota Women's Hiking Shoe borders the line between trail running and light hiking with a burly Racer X sole and a nubuck and suede leather upper. A dual-density EVA midsole provides excellent support and cushion when you're running on rough terrain with a lot of gear in your pack. The Kota also uses Vasque's Keystone Control System and a women's-specific fit to anchor your foot solidly to the sole—so you take full advantage of the the Kota Hiking Shoe's traction and padding.

These are great looking shoes. They have a short break-in time. They’re very comfortable. Great for trekking around town or light hiking on easy to moderate terrain (not much ankle protection for steep descents). Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

I recently hiked about 15 miles in the Andes with these shoes and they were fantastic. Zero blisters and my feet felt great. I only wore them for 2 hours walking around the airport to break them in. Highly recommended! The style is great also, I got so many compliments!

These shoes look and feel great. I've been dashing all over town and trail with them and the break in time was short. Only felt a little stiff on the top of the foot initially. Also I've gotten many compliments on how they look. my sister has now got her eyes on a pair too.
