The Vasque Women's Velocity is an award winning trail runner. Built for motion control on rugged terrain, the Velocity provides rock-solid stability in any condition. The aggressively-lugged Vasque Mako outsole offers superb traction, while the dual-density EVA midsole reduces pronation and collapsing. Vasque includes a nylon plate that extends from the forefoot to the arch, providing a comfortable flex with incredible torsional rigidity. TPU-reinforced Airmesh offers support and prevents the synthetic leather upper from stretching out over time. Further support is provided by lacing that extends near to the toe for a high-performance, precision fit. A burly toe rand protects those tender toes from rocks, roots, and other obstacles in the trail.
Bottom Line: While the Velocity isn't the lightest of the light, it does absolutely everything well, providing superb trail stability in a durable shoe you won't have to replace every couple months.

| My address is roughly 'bottom of the world, turn right, on the coast', cold, often wet, with salty air, and I run for about 1 hour per day on trails which range from rock, to gravel, to rough dirt, to the beach. These shoes provide superb foot support, and are proving to be up to the hard wear I give them. Durable and supportive. For daily trail-running these shoes are sensational value. |

| Awesome Vasque Trail Runners 09-27-04 |

| The Vasque (2003) trail runner is a great shoe. I trail run high in the Rocky Mts. and they have been super. We recently hiked throught Peru (Cordillera Blanca)above 15K feet (no peak bagging) and they performed great! We did not have heavy backpacks. They are definitely a summer shoe, not sealed; water and dust will come right in. |

| didn't like the fit 05-21-09 |

| I bought this shoe and returned it because I simply didn't like the fit. I like my trail running shoes to fit like a glove, and these just had a little extra room at the toes and heels, and for me, there was just too much rubber on the soles/heels. BUT, I'm a women's size 5, so it's pretty tricky to find shoes that fit my feet anyways. This shoe would be great to just stop around in and do short hikes, but I already some shoes for that, so unfortunately, back they went. |
