The Volcom Men's Contra Jean Pants have a straight-leg, low-rise fit that dishes out plenty of style without being so tight that they bring your voice up an octave. A squeaky voice doesn't go very far when you're trying to impress some girl at your friend's house party, and pants cease to be functional when you can no longer move freely enough to skateboard. The Contra Jean Pants' 16.5in leg opening keeps the slim look going strong all the way to the cuffs without any of the drawbacks discussed earlier.
Bottom Line: The Volcom Contra Jean Pants—not too baggy, not too tight, just right.
I like these jeans a lot. They have a pretty unique fit, different than any other jeans I have owned before but this is also my first pair of volcoms. I got a 36, I normally have to wear a belt with my 36's but these don't need one. My only gripe, and this one is kind of a pain, when I first got them if you touch them your hands will instantly become stained from the dye. I had to use paint thinner to get it off, so be sure to wash these real good before you wear them out.
