If you're going to be crowd surfing, it's nice to have leg coverage … like the Volcom Women's Stage Dive Trousers, for example. The fairly large leg openings mean you can still get air circulation as you circulate around the concert hall, and low-profile pockets keep these pants from catching on people's large rings and spiky wristbands.
These are really cute, so I thought they'd be ok to wear to work. I usually wear a size 8, so I ordered a 9 in these...too tight to be comfortable. Sent 'em back, tryed an 11, and pretty much drowned in them. I wish these had fit, because I really did like them a whole bunch.
Vanity sizing has really gotten out of hand. I should be a 3, or maybe a 1. I got the 1s and the waist was really big. I'm going to to throw them in the dryer and pray that it shrinks them enough (too lazy to return).
They are very cute though. The blue and red pattern is a larger "windowpane" kind of plaid (I got the black) and embroidered in. You can wear a belt with these. The are fitted on the upper butt but straight down in the underbutt so they're not tight.
