You don’t want to ride in some lame-ass, just-like-everyone-else jacket. Volcom made the Women’s Hudson Jacket with an all-over print that demands attention. The faux-wool fabric fools your friends with a secret 10K-rating and fully taped seams—there’s no point in looking good if you’re going to get all wet and soggy on the slopes. Volcom’s Team Fit is loose and baggy so you have plenty of room to layer underneath, and detachable faux-fur trim on the hood gives you fuzz options for the park. Lycra wrist gaiters and a pow skirt block the white stuff on deep days.
I ordered the wolf-stripe white jacket in Medium to have a little extra room (I'm a size small in jackets). I'm 5'3'' 130 lbs and it was way more than enough room and was too big for me! The pattern was cool, the overall look of the jacket was cool. But the hood is attached to the chin-guard and doesn't snap off, so unless you have a really thin neck (I consider mine thin), you might be choked a little! The other thing is that instead of snaps that most jackets have on the powder skirts, it has plastic hooks that don't seem durable..also a zipper which I'm assuming zips onto Volcom pants? So maybe that works out well if your pants are Volcom.
This coat is even cooler looking in real life! Definitely happy with my purchase! It wasn't as warm as I thought, but it actually works better that way for boarding since you have layers on!
