The doppler is a great jacket. It's a shell so no matter what condition your riding in you'll be able to adjust to that condition. 3 Layer gore-tex...not get wet much? Looks awesome, fits awesome, and has hand gaiters. If you have Volcom pants you can also use the zip-in tech to keep your goodies dry on those deep pow days.
Great jacket, hands down.
This jacket, I would recomment buying. It's light in weight, 100% waterproof and 100% breathablity, what else can you get from gore tex lol. I bought the parillo faces, awesome print on jacket. Looks better in person than the pictures. I couldn't even tell I had a jacket on. It fit good with base layer and fleece.
This jacket looks super sick on. Black is proper (there are a lot of jackets out there that claim to be "black" and show up not so black). But I wore this jacket on a day that was 10 degrees in Utah and I was freezing...had to go buy an extra layer. I would think that for the price is might be a little warmer. If you're going to spend the money get something with insulation and more warmth... this jacket should go for about $100-$150 less than it actually sells. I'm probably returning.
