Volkl designed the Women’s Cosmo Ski for the solid intermediate through advanced lady skier who doesn’t want to pigeonhole herself as exclusively park’n’pipe or all-mountain. With a light, responsive wood core, twin-tip design, carve-worthy sidecut, and just enough float to rip it off-piste, the Cosmo truly does it all. Cruise through the aspens, pop through the moguls, slay a wide-open slope, and then land switch in the park, no prob. If you can only fit one pair in your rack for this year’s road trip, this is it.
Bottom Line: Like the boyfriend who warms up your car, makes French toast, and takes the trash out. You want it, all-in-one.
I scored these babies on tramdock. Seriously, what a score! I used to ride the Line Celebs, and granted they floated in knee deep powder effortlessly, they lacked the power to rip through the crud, bumps, push piles and they definitely could not without the edge with speed. Along came the Cosmos, and ladies, if you want to keep up with your boy these are the sticks for you. I've never been so confident to blaze these through whatever condition Steamboat throws my way. Love em. Plan on putting the Celebs in the garage and riding these stix Nov-April. Sweet.
