Vans designed this not-too-high, not-too-low skater to explode on the style scale above “massive flame ball” and right below “complete and utter destruction.” A padded tongue and ankle protect you from the detonation, and a slightly raised body adds leverage and support.
Bottom Line: Nothin' feels better than blowin' shit up.
Well I wish I'd have tried these on at a shop first because then I'd have known to order a bigger size or not even bother. These shoes have such thick soles that they actually hurt until I put a thinner sole from another pair of shoes, but the shoe is still to narrow and cramps my toes. so basically getting these shoes were a waste of time, only good thing is that I a pair of really thick insoles to use in another pair of shoes once I wear these out or throw them out which ever happens first.
I love these shoes. I have worn through the sole of the pair i own right now. and i am seriously considering buying another pair. They are on the heavy side, but they are so comfortable it is well worth it.
