Description of ThirtyTwo The Vela Snowboard Boot - Women's:
ThirtyTwo made the Vela Women's Snowboard Boot for aggressive female riders who demand a stiff, high-performance boot. The Velas feature System G202 dual cushioning in the heels, which has air bags to absorb low-impact forces from freeriding and gel bags to soak up the shock of landing a big jump. The Tongue Tension Strap System works with the 3D tongue to make lacing up easier so you get a firm fit. An inner harness gives you added ankle support and holds your heel in place, while ThirtyTwo's Level 4 women's liner provides insulation and luxurious comfort without pressure points. A welded TPU backstay increases durability and binding grip at the high-wear area along the back spine of the boot.
Bottom Line: The Vela Boot is an aggressive all-mountain dominatrix.
One of the comfiest womens boots on the market! Amazing support and they last forever! I previously rode the Lashed, but found they were too wide for my foot. The Velas fit a bit narrower and packed out to be absolutely perfect. These boots are great if you are charging everything from pow to park! Try them out!

Only gonna ride 32's from here on in...love the Vela! 11-15-08
So yea, when i first bought them they were impossible to put on, super tight fitting. got them heat molded, and while they were still a pain to put on, held my feet super tight and were comfortable. this will be my fourth season in my first pair...and i ride 'bout 100 days a season, and i'm still usin' em. bought a backup pair last year, just in case mine finally died, but they're still goin'. sure, they're not as stiff, but stiff enough, and i've got the option of adding the additional stiffener to the front should i need to. i make sure never to walk on pavement in them (every time your heel hits the ground, it softens your boot), and i guess i take pretty good care of my gear...the toe bit with "32" on it is starting to come off, but nothing a bit of shoe goo won't fix. i'm stoked about the ankle tightening bit on the newer models...can't wait to try that (it's on my backup boots that i haven't used yet)!
