The North Face Women’s Stretch Knit Short feels soft and stretchy, which lets it stay out of your way as you power through another few miles of uphill trails. Mesh breathable panels keep you from getting a case of the muggy-shorts, and a little stash pocket in the waistband keeps you from getting locked out of your car back at the trailhead.
I brought these shorts with on a trip to Puerto Rico to wear as a rash guard layer. They were great for snorkeling, body boarding, ziplining, rapeling, and climbing. They stayed in place well, even in a harness while rapeling down a 90-foot waterfall, and when being taken by 6-foot waves. They are more fitted around the hips, and looser around the thighs. They are a good length and a good weight for hot weather. They didn't get very droopy when wet, either. They are true to size. I am getting another pair...
