Most convertible pants only have zip-off legs. The North Face Women’s Canmore Lake Convertible Pant, however, can roll up and secure at a capri length or zip off to form shorts. The UPF 30-rated fabric helps block harmful sun rays, and the Canmore’s recycled polyester and organic cotton fabric (plus a bit of spandex) remains kind to the environment. The short’s seven-inch inseam gives your lower legs lots of breathing room.

| I've bought and returned several pairs of convertible pants in the search for the right ones. I've tried a couple other TNF pants and several from Columbia, Campmor, and other brands. Most pants are made with material that's too thin and are unflattering on the hips. These pants are made of the perfect material - it's light enough to breathe but thick enough that it doesn't feel like you're wearing kleenex. I love the drawstring and the cute little details. The zipper around the thigh IS a little tight, but I got it a size up and you can just pull the drawstring tighter. The 3-in-1 is awesome and each style is really cute. These pants have a lot of pockets and are actually nice-looking as well as functional. Spend the extra money because these really are the best convertible pants! |

| Very disappointing 06-11-09 |

| I was excited when I ordered these pants, I really liked the look/feel/color/functionality. I was saddened after I tried them on, however, because the zipper around the thigh was way too tight and very uncomfortable. I even tried ordering a couple sizes up from my normal size 8 pant. Too bad, I really liked everything else about these pants… very disappointing... |
