Description of The North Face Harvey Elk Woven Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's:
The ultralight The North Face Men’s Harvey Elk Woven Shirt suits traveling gentlemen (or mountain men) wonderfully. A stretchy, wicking, UPF 30-rated fabric keeps you cool and dry, and the shirt rolls up neatly to fit in a backpack. Venting at the back increases airflow, so you’ll still look fresh at the end of a long sweaty day in Ecuador, Spain, or Thailand.
Bottom Line: Simple plaid design and lots of travel-friendly features.
This shirt has inspired me, I want to put back vents in all my shirts... If only I was a better seamster(?) or whatever the male version of a seamstress is.
10/10 for style *and* function. The chest pocket is a zippered napoleon pocket.
Title really saws it all. I was really worried when I first got it that it was going to be too heavy and warm. Little did I know... The "two layer waffle construction" keeps the shirt off your skin yet completely wicks any moisture away from your body. Nothing can keep this shirt wet. Just throw a glass of water at it and find out. Even in 120*F heat, this shirt kept me clean and happy. It even does a good job of keeping the odors down when the going gets tough. Already ordered another one. This shirt is going to the top of the list for all future hiking and travel activities.
