Nice jacket, but quality is not like the ones in the store that I saw. Fur like quality is very light not thick. Store was much nicer, but didn't have my daughters size so I order from your company. Maybe Northface is changing material being used, if so they should maybe let consumers know of this quality. When paying these prices you should get what you want. It was to late to return, I need this gift for x-mas. Next time will research more and purchase where I can see item.
I have purchased a total of four North face coats/jackets for my Grand daughters. One in College in Long Island, NY and a very cold place. All Jackets are 5 star...Gear heads are all top notch. exchange on one went very smooth Frank Borrelli

I am all about style but a product has to perform and this one just falls short. 12-23-08
I have read many reviews on how soft, even "cuddly" this product is but not how warm it is. If you are looking for a great performing "thermal" jacket, this is not it. The wind cuts right through it and it really is not that warm comparatively to similarly priced products made from merino, micro fleece, or even 2 base layers of some of the newer thin base layers . I am all about style but a product has to perform and this one just falls short.
