This puffy jacket features the warmth of 500-fill down insulation and includes a water-resistant nylon shell to hold off snow and keep out the frigid winter wind. Four pockets provide plenty of places to stash your stuff. Just make sure you remember which one you zipped your car keys into. Even though The North Face made this jacket with a below-the-waist cut, it also included a hem cinch to keep out the chill in really windy conditions.

Bottom Line: That thermometer can’t be right. It doesn’t feel like ten below.

Once I got this Parka, I realized that my choice was great. it's warmer than my another parka that is North face 700 down parka and it's lighter than I expected. I love this parka, I'm expecting next winter.

My husband realized when he put the coat on for the first time that a snap is missing , right at the neck. So we'll have to return it. From reading the previous review, snaps appear to be a problem. The coat is warm and nice looking, otherwise.
