Description of The North Face Antoinette Down Jacket - Women's:
Wearing three sweaters and two insulated jackets just to stay warm is lame, not to mention cumbersome. You might want to try The North Face Women's Antoinette Down Jacket. The North Face made this puffy with 600-fill down for warmth that won't weight you down or require fifty bulky layers. Hand pockets warm your fingers when you forget gloves, and a wrist accessory pocket with a goggle cloth comes in handy if you wear this down jacket skiing. The rib-knit cuffs and hem help contain your warmth on walks downtown and to the office.
Bottom Line: Down for warmth, rib-knit hem and cuffs for blocking cold air.
Doesn't look the same on, as it does on-line. Arms are REALLY poofy up at the top. I felt like the Michelin Man in it. If you are going for a "i'm about to go for a space walk" kind of look, this is the jacket for you!!!
I was in line at the Apple store, and the girl (woman) in front of me was wearing this jacket in Nightsky Blue. She had a nice figure, I admit. Weight in proportion to height and all that. But I have to say, this jacket was a "head-turner"!
It fits nicely at the waist, and appears to fit like more of a down sweater rather than the old poofy down jackets.
I went into Nordstroms to try one on, but alas, they did not have any mediums left..... So I'm trying to decide if I should just gamble and buy one online.
If I will look like that hottie @ the Apple store, then I'm going for it!
