If you tend to get cold on the slopes, and you don't want a down jacket that soaks up every drop of moisture, look to The North Face Women's Tempest Down Jacket. A waterproof breathable shell blocks moisture, 600-fill down keeps you cozy, and a powder skirt keeps snow on the slopes. The North Face added a removable faux fur lining to the hood for a bit of casual style. This warm, puffy jacket's long length keeps you covered on the ski hill, and Underarm zips help you dump heat after a hard run. The North Face included a Recco avalanche rescue reflector to help aid ski patrol in the event of a slide.
Bottom Line: For the coldest, wettest days of the season.

| I actually got this jacket last year in a different color and when I saw it this year in the green I had to get it. My husband makes fun of me for having the same coat in two different colors but I'll tell you what, I work at a ski resort and get cold super easy. I don't wear too many layers under and get lots of compliments on the color and style. The sleeves may seem a little bulky at first but after wearing it a few times the are normal. I love buying things through backcountry! They have some of the best customer service around and will continue to buy from them as long as I need to. |

| This coat is interesting because it has 600 down and so many features and at the same time it is a tight fit although that is part of the whole ski coat fashion. It is very warm and I prefer to not wear layers or thick clothing under because I will be uncomfortable. My opinion is based on the fact that I am a full figured woman when it comes to hips and bottom. Coat comes under waist which is warming as well. |

| I got this and returned it. I'm 5 7 and anytime I sat down or moved too much it rode up my back and as warm as the rest of me was, that cold air on your low back just ruins it. Way too short. I had a M and a L was too big. If you have a long back or torso I wouldn't recommend it. |
