Description of The North Face Isabel II Winter Boot - Women's:
When it's snowy and wet outside and you don't feel like wearing winter shoes that look like hardcore Everest climbing boots, zip on The North Face Women's Isabel Boots. Thanks to water-resistant suede uppers and a sweet, ski-town style, these boots are ready for trips downtown. PrimaLoft Eco insulation keeps your feet super warm, and the aggressive traction (Ice Pic lugs that harden when temps reach freezing) on the soles of the Isabel Boots grip slippery sidewalks. A shearling collar lining adds fun detail.
They look as good as in the picture but they are very uncomfortable. I have small feet but these boots are still too narrow. Furthermore the reinforced heel hurts your foot when you are walking. North Face it was a nice try to design a functional dress boot - but unfortunately it didn't work out. I rather keep the casual looking Nuptse Boots.
Bought these for my college student- was very tempted to keep them for myself! Very cute, true to size - except my daughter said although they didn't feel tight width wise, they did feel very stiff - not sure if they'll give over time or not. Go great with leggings, jeans, skirts - really just about anything while holding up in our Northeastern winter weather.
May just have to splurge and buy myself a pair!

Comfy, Warm, Not your regular Winter boot 03-04-09
These boots are very comfy and warm. They also have great traction. I think they are pretty cute--they are not your regular ugly winter boot. :-)
I reccomend them! Also, they are water resistant--which helps make them last a little longer. (more than one season at least).
