Description of The North Face Venus Halter Top - Women's:
Some halter tops are cute, but there's no built-in support, and you can't help wondering about the possibility of sag halfway through the day or just worrying about general discomfort. The North Face Women's Venus Halter Top has a built-in shelf bra. Yeay! The Venus Top ties around the back of your neck, while hidden support eases your worries. The North Face gave this halter top a soft, comfy fabric and a slight V-neck.
Bottom Line: Hidden support in The North Face Venus Halter Top won't leave you hanging.
Definitely for the big busted women and way beyond! Got a size S to hold my 34c' and still waaay too big!! The stripes accentuate the width - imagine from baseball to soccer ball big. Halter straps also chafe. On the plus side, it's fairly comfortable to lounge around with some minor strap adjustments.
At 5'7, 140lbs, I figured a Medium would fit fine for me, as that's usually what I wear. No way. Going along with what one of the other ladies said, it would seem that NF expects you to have quite a bit of chest to fill out this shirt. I, unfortunately (for them?) do not, so this shirt was baggy and ill fitting. The shirt was rather baggy in the middle as well, which I found odd. I expected it to be a bit more form fitting than it turned out to be. The material is comfy and the style could be cute, but it didn't work out for me.
