The North Face Paramount Ascent Short is a techy set of everyday shorts. The elastic, drawstring waist is slack-tastic, and front patch zip pockets give it a tech look and, incidentally, hold stuff. Water-resistant and quick-drying, the Paramount shorts will stay dry and comfortable in all kinds of crazy summer weather. A gusseted crotch gives you great freedom of movement and makes the shorts suitable for climbing, as well as just being a bum.

| These shorts are PERFECT for summer hikes and hanging out. The pockets are the perfect size and stuff doesn't fall out of them. They are a little long, but I'm pretty short. They seem to run true to size. |

| I love the North Face quality, therefore I've purchased multiple products. The waist runs a bit small: I'm normally a 2-4, but I wear 6 in North Face. Also, for those of you blessed w/ curves, these shorts have the room in the backside. I didn't receive that blessing, but the bagginess makes them very comfortable. I'm 5'7", and the fall a little above mid-thigh. Overall, I love theses shorts and would highly recommend them to anyone who loves the outdoors. |

| These shorts are awesome and really comfortable. The versatile pockets w. zippers and velcro make bringing a key or money along with on your run or bike ride easy. They also seem waterproof or dry extra fast! Great colors, too! |
