Description of The North Face XTC Lightweight Tight - Women's:
If you need lightweight long johns that won't get sweat-soaked and smelly during your hardcore ski sessions, look to The North Face Women's XTC Lightweight Tights. Thanks to the unique Bamboo Charcoal technology, the XTC Tights have mad wicking and odor-inhibiting capabilities. This way, your legs stay dry on the ski slopes, and you won't smell like a gym locker-room when you layer with these lightweight tights on winter camping trips.
Bottom Line: The North Face XTC Lightweight Tights keep you dry and stink-free during ski days and weeklong camping trips.
The XTC tights are lightweight long underwear that provide a great deal of warmth as well as moisture wicking to keep you warm and dry in any activity. These are a perfect versatile layer for ski touring, spring skiing, and climbing, and have good breathability and flow with movement- you barely notice they're there. I have the cloud white color which is light on the outside and a darker grey on the inside, which is a smart color design for sweat etc. These have a nice slightly loose fit with a comfortable waist band and good tapering for the calfs. There is good stretch to these so you can adjust the height for ski boots, climbing boots etc. I am 5'8 and wear a medium.
When worn under my ski pants they didn't feel like I was wearing two layer of pants. The material did not irritate the skin and it kept me warm and dry in the foggy/raining snow weather.
