I love this vest but the hood is not removable as you state above. The fur comes off. It might be good to tell buyers the fur is faux. It has high armholes so I also recommend considering going up a size.

I am not sure how they did it to down, but somehow this vest is quite heavy and stiff feeling. It also comes hits high at the waist. I ended up returning it for the Spyder Charm Vest in black - which is like slipping into a warm dark cloud - wonderful!

I am really happy with this vest. I'm 5.8", and slender...I bought a medium, and worried it would be too short, but it was PERFECT length.Just enough room for a layer underneath in winter.I would say sizing is accurate...Very warm, nice pockets.No problem with feathers leaking out so far.Seems well made. LOVE the color, a light green.
