This jacket is light, insulating, and not bulky. It looks like a light coat on, but wears like serious winter gear.

I couldn't be happier with this jacket. It has to stand up to Wisconsin and Illinois winters and plenty of hiking, snowshoeing, and outdoor time. It's thin, yet extremely warm without the bulk. Plus, with PrimaLoft I don't feel guilty every time I hike past a goose. I would highly, highly recommend.

This is by far the warmest jacket I have ever owned. I have a North Face Tri-climate jacket and I am not impressed, especially compared to this coat. I've noticed that a lot of The North Face Jackets hit at high hip, and this one is a bit longer, it's perfect and covers your lower back so you don't have to constantly pull your jacket down. The jacket is not bulky at all and I was a little hesitant to wear it in Wisconsin this winter. To my surprise it is soooo warm, blocks the wind and keeps you nice and warm. I have already recommended it to 2 of my friends who have both bought it and love it.
