Description of The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Men's: |
 |
Wearing your down sleeping bag outside on freezing winter days would be warm, but it might get tiring to hop everywhere. Thanks to lightweight, warm 700-fill down, The North Face Men's Nuptse Jacket keeps you warm without making you re-live your potato-bag-race days. The Nuptse Jacket's reinforced upper torso increases this puffy's durability, and sewn-through construction keeps the down from shifting. This way, you're not stuck with cold spots after a few years of wear. The North Face Nuptse's front pockets warm your hands, and this down jacket's hem drawcord blocks the elements.
Bottom Line: Tackle freezing New England, Rocky Mountain, and West Coast winters with The North Face Nuptse Jacket.

| Desde Chile adquri este producto, el cual es muy superior a la competencia existente en nuestro pais (Columbia Titanium). Resiste muy bien las temperaturas bajas.
Ademas, el soporte del website de la tienda es de los mejores!!! FELICITACIONES |

| This is one of the few products that I have liked enough to buy twice. I lost the first one during a crazy night out. After losing my first one, I tried at other down jackets (Patagonia, REI), but ended up returning those and buying another Nuptse. I use it as my COLD weather jacket. For this casual purpose, this jacket is good: it's very warm, durable, and fits well. But I do not use it as a technical jacket. I have worn it snowboarding once, but it does not make sense for that purpose because it can get wet and lose its insulating properties. And it is too bulky to fit under my shell.
Reasons why I gave it four, not five, stars: neck does not have a soft liner, like other down jackets, and the zipper sometimes snags, which is could be a major problem if it ripped the nylon and let the down out. The hood is somewhat pointless, as if it were raining, you would not have this on as an outer layer because the down would get wet, and thus lose its insulating capabilities. |

| Forget fleece, this works well from 25 - 60 degrees. Packs small, quarter space & weight of fleece. Like fleece it is not water or wind proof, still need a rain shell. Just can't beat some classics. |
